2015 Accomplishments A closed Facebook Members page was launched. Advertising was placed in Mother Earth Living and OLA Destinations 2015 publication. Continued monthly maintenance of our Membership List An Exit Survey was developed for departing members. Increased number of total United States Lavender Grower Association (USLGA) members from 237 in February to 245 in October. The results are in and the new board members for 2016 are Julie Haushalter of White Oak Lavender Farm in Harrisburg, VA (voted in for a second term), Mary Seek of Seek Lavender in Culpeper, VA, and Martha Wilczynski of Lavender Hill Farm of Niles MI, in Niles MI. The US Lavender Growers Association has announced its 2015 slate of officers and directors. Michael (Mike) Neustrom, of Prairie Lavender Farm in Bennington, Kansas, has been elected for a two year term, replacing Mary Bergstrom, of Southern Hills Lavender in Greer, South Carolina, who served as the association’s founding president. Mike previously served on the board as USLGA treasurer.
