Abstract: The United States Lavender Growers Association (USLGA) crop production survey was conducted in April and May of 2013. Sixty four (64) growers responded to the survey listing ‘Royal Velvet’, ‘Folgate’, ‘Hidcote’, ‘Buena Vista’ and ‘Melissa’ as their top five L. angustifolia cultivars. ‘Grosso’, ‘Provence’, ‘Hidcote Giant’, ‘Gros Bleu’, and ‘Super’ were listed as their top five L. x. intermedia cultivars. Between 2013 and 2015, six hundred eighty thousand, five hundred eighty (680,580) plants are scheduled to be planted by the sixty four (64) lavender growers responding to the survey. Hardiness zone where lavender/Lavandin are grown range from zone 4 to 11. Over fifty percent of the growers are involved in the retail sale of dried bud (59.4%), 65.6% in the retail sale of dry flower bundles, 60.9% in the retail sale of crafts, 53.1% in the retail sale of bath & body care products, 53.1 % in the sale of buds for culinary use, and 59.4% are involved in agritourism.
