Hello Lavender Growers! Bloom time is almost here and harvest days are getting closer!! Making now the perfect time to pull out your notebook and pencil or electronic tablet to start gathering all the data we need to help our industry grow!
Every year the United States Lavender Growers Association distributes a harvest survey. The goal of this survey is to build a foundation of knowledge to base future measurement of growth and production on, as well as to provide information needed by various committees to continue moving forward with research, education and advocacy opportunities. The USLGA Annual Harvest Survey, which will be sent out in the fall, is open to any and all lavender growers, big and small, whose business is located in the United States.
This Harvest Measurement Worksheet was created to aid growers in determining what information is needed to complete the survey. You do not have to complete the entire worksheet for your data to be useful. If only certain sections pertain to you, collecting data on just those sections will still make a difference.
