We want to put you on the Lavender Map!

Calling lavender growers! The art and science of growing and harvesting lavender is affected by the decisions that all you growers make, and the U.S. Lavender Growers Association is interested. Lavender has many different varieties and is grown in many different parts of the country. That means the “First Bloom” date and the Harvest date varies widely from region to region and even from farm to farm. The Harvest dates vary more widely than the bloom dates because different growers harvest all those varying varieties for various purposes.  We are organizing an effort to log the bloom and harvesting times for marketing, scientific, and general interest purposes. As a member of the association you can add your information to our maps, which will be visible by the general public. Not only will you help the greater lavender community, but you will also have your blooming information out for any agri-tourism business that you might be doing.

It’s easy to submit your information. If you are a USLGA member, login and tell us when your bloom started and when your harvest started – for 2013.

The  information will be displayed on a map so everyone can see how bloom and harvest progressed across the country!  Show your farm to your customers!  Use it to plan trips to other farms!  These links will show you the maps that have been started for 2013.
