Marketing Workshops Scheduled for Oregon, Washington by Susan and Jack Harrington, USLGA members.
Two marketing workshops for lavender growers and other small-scale crop farmers in Oregon and Washington will be presented in late April, with Early Bird registration discounts available through March 21. USLGA members are given an extra discount.
“Internet and Marketing are NOT Four Letter Words,” as recently presented by Susan L. Harrington at the Specialty Crop Institute in Nevada and at the Southwest Lavender Conference, and will focus on current best practices using the Internet and traditional media. Ms. Harrington, of Labyrinth Hill Lavender in Hansville, Washington, also co-produced the recent Northwest Regional Lavender Conference.
The Oregon Lavender Association is sponsoring the April 27 program, which will be held at the Holiday Inn-Portland South in Wilsonville. In Washington, the four-hour session will be held at the Hampton Inn in Tacoma.
